Xinyi Group's Volunteers Join “LST-Mid-Autumn Festival Community Visit Activity” to Distribute Gift Packages Send Festive Greetings and Care to Grassroots Show Love in Action

(9 September 2022, Hong Kong News) – Xinyi Group companies – Xinyi Glass Holdings Limited (stock code: 00868), Xinyi Solar Holdings Limited (stock code: 00968), Xinyi Energy Holdings Limited (stock code: 03868) and Xinyi Electric Storage Holdings Limited (stock code: 08328), again took part this year in the "Mid-Autumn Festival Elderly Visit Activity" organised by The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society Kowloon ("Lok Sin Tong") to distribute gift packages and send warm festive greetings to grassroots families and the elderly.

The volunteer team made up of Xinyi Group companies’ staffs and their families were at the Tung Tau Estate on 3 September to give out gift packages. Though restricted by the pandemic they could not go into residents’ homes, they gave out the “HKSAR Anniversary Celebration” Gift Packages with mooncakes and related their sincere festive greetings to residents at the door.


Dr LEE Yin Yee, B.B.S., Chairman of Xinyi Glass and Xinyi Solar, said, “The Mid-Autumn Festival is an important traditional Chinese festival during which family members reunite. In the advent of this joyful festival, our employees have walked the walk to send festive greetings with genuine care, and to share the joy of the festive season with grassroots families and the elderly. Going forward, we will continue to uphold our core value of ‘be kind to the world’, actively fulfill our corporate social responsibility and offer help and support to more people in need.”


Lok Sin Tong, which was founded in 1880, has served Hong Kong for more than 141 years. It is one of the oldest charities in Hong Kong and is devoted to its missions, which are “To provide relief for victims of disasters and to console people in distress; To provide quality medical care and free medicine; To promote education and to cultivate youngsters, and To care for the Elderly and nurture the Young.” The charity has different organisations set up on Hong Kong Island, and in Kowloon and the New Territories that provide the public with comprehensive and high-quality services such as medical care, education, elderly care and social welfare. It also actively participates in and organises much social welfare and cultural and recreational activities to strive for building a better and more caring Hong Kong.
